Aided by electric assistance, on this trip we will travel through endless ancestral trails steeped in history, visit medieval castles and abandoned villages lost in time, and contemplate spectacular landscapes while making amusing and diverse descents, and even challenging ascents to test ourselves.

From the medieval town of Aínsa, we will tour the BTT center Zona Zero and the mythical trails of the Enduro World Series, visiting lost villages where we can experience the deepest solitude and establish close contact with the wildest nature. The trails that we will find in the outskirts of Aínsa make a perfect playing ground for e-bikes. The long stretches of trail, clean and fast, rocky and technical at times, with very diverse descents and challenging ascents, will make us enjoy every meter. And also the trail combinations are almost endless!!

With the National Park of Ordesa y Monte Perdido as a backdrop, we will be surrounded by mountainous landscapes and unique natural settings, in which the traditional way of life connected with the mountains is still being felt. TYPICAL PROGRAM:

This is an example of what a typical trip program would be, although it may be modified without prior notice depending on the weather or other factors. The idea is to do a 20 to 30 km long route with a cumulative elevation gain of around 1000 m in the morning, and complete the afternoon with a shorter and smoother option, recharging batteries in the lunch break if necessary.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT DESTINATION
Transfer from the airport to Aínsa. Welcome, presentation of the team and trip briefing. We will take the opportunity to make all the necessary adjustments to the bicycles.

DAY 2: RIDING IN AINSA – ZONA ZERO
Get accustomed to the terrain, discovering some of the wonderful corners of the BTT center Zona Zero of Aínsa, where we will do some of the most famous trails in the area, including the legendary descents of the Enduro World Series.

DAY 3: RIDING IN AINSA – ZONA ZERO
The medieval castle of Muro de Roda, in the nearby valley of La Fueva, offers an unparalleled panoramic view of the territory and is the starting point of some of the best routes for e-bikes in the area.

DAY 4: RIDING IN AINSA – ZONA ZERO
We will continue exploring the endless number of trails in Ainsa, looking for new horizons and unknown sectors.

DAY 5: RIDING IN BIELSA
Today we will change scenery and go up to the higher areas of the Valley, to Bielsa, a small mountain town located at the gates of the National Park of Ordesa. Awaiting us here is a high mountain landscape of snowy peaks and alpine forests, of meadows and lakes, where it won’t be difficult to imagine the extinct glaciers running down the slopes, the same ones we will run on by bike.

DAY 6: RIDING FROM AÍNSA TO NOCITO
After saying goodbye to Zona Zero with the morning ride, we will start our route from Aínsa to Nocito, in the heart of the Natural Park of the Sierra de Guara, crossing the paths that linked some of the oldest abandoned towns in the Park.

DAY 7: RIDING IN NOCITO
Nocito is located in a quiet and bucolic valley. A unique place with a very special energy, where time seems to have a different rhythm. Leaving from our accommodation we will visit the old monastery of San Urbez, from where we will begin an incredible route through the best trails in this area of the Park, all high quality, but also very demanding.

DAY 8: FAREWELL AND RETURN TO THE AIRPORT

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

  • Is the travel program fixed?

No, the program is tentative and the order of the riding zones is not fixed. Because we are in a mountain area, the weather is very changeable and we may be forced to change the riding zones depending on the weather forecast.

  • How difficult are the routes?

The routes proposed for this trip can be completed with a 600 W battery. Most of them are between 25-30 km and 1000 – 1400 m of cumulative positive elevation gain and the idea is to do a route in the morning and another one in the afternoon, recharging the batteries at lunchtime if necessary. The technical difficulty of the climbs is highly variable, but in general, all can be pedaled.

  • Do I have to bring my breakdown tools?

You don’t need to bring tools. Our bikes are equipped with the minimum essential spare parts kit, and our guides carry everything you need for quick fixes on the road. We also have a support van for more complex breakdowns and spare bicycles if necessary.

  • What kind of clothes do I need?

In the Pyrenees, the weather is very changeable, so we must always carry a waterproof jacket in our backpack. In addition, on this trip we will visit both high mountain areas as well as valley bottoms and warm areas, so we will need short and long equipment, depending on the area we are in. You may also need a thermal shirt in case it is cold in the higher areas.

  • Do I have to bring my protection items or can I rent them at the destination?

It is highly recommended to bring your own protection items for reasons of comfort and hygiene. But if you need to rent them, contact us and we will see how we can manage it.

  • Do I need a full face helmet?

We do not consider it mandatory to wear a full face helmet, although the removable chin guard option seems highly recommended, given the variety of trails that we will find during the trip.

  • What can I do if one day I don’t want to ride a bike?

In the riding zones there are multiple options for adventure sports adapted to all levels (rafting, canyoning, climbing, via ferrata, hiking, etc.). We will help you to book these activities.

  • If one day I don’t want to ride a bike, is the cost associated with that day refunded?

No, the price of the trip is fixed, so no refunds are made for reasons of voluntary rest.

  • If I can’t travel with my bike, can I rent one at the destination?

Yes, we can manage it without a problem.
